When a message says it’s from SAPS (South African Police Service)

We don’t have a current warning for SAPS (South African Police Service). That isn’t a promise that every message is safe — use the official SAPS (South African Police Service) app or printed contact details to check.

Stay safe: Don’t tap links in unexpected messages. Open the brand’s official app yourself, and never share one-time PINs — even if the caller sounds official.
